It’s a sweet mid-morning Monday and I’ve got a line tag-taping through my head. My brain is reeling like CNN.

It’s the tagline behind Jessica Bendinger’s new book The Seven Rays. And it’s popping up everywhere. Want to know the truth? Today I’m sitting on Jessica’s couch with one of her sweet pooches napping next to me while her kitchen gets remodeled.

I do exciting things like update Twitter and Facebook. That’s right. I get PAID to do these my friends are trying to sneak by their boss. It’s Music Monday and I’m listening to Scarlett Johansson and Pete Yorn’s new album “Break Up.” It’s upbeat and poppy and, just so you know, the pups LOVE it. That’s the lovely thing about this job- every day isn’t a panic attack. Sometimes you get handed this sweet calm morning serenaded by the symphonies of drills and hammers, scrubbing sponges and stirring sticks. And then you look over and SEE- this pup gets it more than me!
